Your evening begins at the Storyville Museum, where guests will enjoy a self-guided, interactive audio tour from 3:30–5:00 p.m., exploring the fascinating history and stories of one of New Orleans' most iconic historic districts.
Following the tour, one of our chef historians will meet the group and lead them on a leisurely, dusk-lit stroll through the enchanting streets of the French Quarter, sharing stories and culinary traditions along the way. The journey concludes at the New Orleans School of Cooking, where an evening of delicious food, cocktails, and hands-on culinary discovery awaits.
Guests will begin their cooking experience with a comforting bowl of Chicken & Sausage Gumbo paired with a refreshing Dark & Stormy cocktail.
Next, it's time to step into the kitchen! Guests will prepare their entrée:
Steak Diane and Cauliflower au Gratin
To bring the evening to a spectacular close, guests will experience the magic of a flambéed Cherries Jubilee, served warm over creamy Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.
Includes
- Chicken & Andouille Sausage Gumbo - A rich, dark-roux gumbo brimming with tender chicken and smoky Andouille sausage, simmered with the “holy trinity” of onion, celery, and bell pepper in a deeply flavorful, seasoned stock.
- Steak Diane with Cauliflower Au Gratin - Tender steak seared to perfection and finished with a luxurious Diane sauce of shallots, mushrooms, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire, and a splash of brandy, enriched with cream. Served alongside tender cauliflower baked in a velvety cheese sauce with a golden, bubbling finish.
