What to Expect

**Ride waves the Hawaiian way! **

Experience one of Hawaii's oldest ocean traditions. Paddle a traditional Hawaiian outrigger canoe through Kalapaki Bay and ride waves back to shore with an experienced local steersman. This unique activity offers the excitement of surfing, the spirit of teamwork, and the culture of old Hawaiʻi—all in a fun 45-minute adventure.

Restrictions

  • Ages 6 and older
  • Participants must be able to swim
  • Active paddling is required
  • Minimum of 2 paddling adults per canoe
  • Maximum of 4 passengers per canoe
  • Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
  • Guests must be physically able to enter, exit, and ride in the canoe safely

Kauai Beach Boys reserves the right to deny participation if minimum safety requirements are not met.
