Marco Island Private Eco & Dolphin Tour
2 Hours • Dolphins, Wildlife & Beachcombing
What to Expect
Explore the wild side of Marco Island on a private 2-hour eco and dolphin tour through the Ten Thousand Islands. Departing from Goodland, your experienced local captain takes your group beyond the developed shoreline and into one of Southwest Florida’s most remarkable coastal environments.
Cruise through mangrove-lined waterways and around remote islands, bays, and shallow waters while watching for Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, manatees, shorebirds, and other native wildlife. Your captain shares local knowledge about the wildlife, mangroves, tides, waterways, and unique ecosystem of the Ten Thousand Islands.
When conditions allow, your adventure includes time to go ashore on a natural barrier island or remote beach. Walk the shoreline, beachcomb, look for shells, and experience a part of Southwest Florida accessible only by boat. Shelling is part of the experience, but this is primarily an eco and wildlife tour rather than a dedicated shelling tour.
Because this is a private Marco Island boat tour, the experience is relaxed and personal. Your captain can adjust the experience around your group’s interests, whether that’s dolphins, wildlife, photography, mangroves, or beachcombing.
Routes and stops vary based on tides, weather, water conditions, wildlife activity, and the captain’s judgment. Wildlife sightings and specific shell finds cannot be guaranteed.
Reel Kind has been exploring the waters around Marco Island and the Ten Thousand Islands since 2003, giving guests a local perspective on this extraordinary part of Southwest Florida.
