What to Expect

Experience the wonder of Tomales Bay at night!

Tomales Bay Expeditions offers nighttime guided sea kayaking tours for the purpose of viewing bioluminescence. Tours start at sunset and last three hours. Participants are instructed on the use of closed-deck sea kayaks before heading out on the bay for a paddle of approximately 2 1/2 hours to view bioluminescent plankton.

Any reservation (or portion thereof) cancelled on the date of the event, including “no shows” will be charged in full. Reservations (or portions thereof) cancelled after the booking date will be charged a 20% cancellation fee. This does not include safety-related cancellations made by Tomales Bay Expeditions.
