What to Expect
Crabbing from the shore, will be a brief overview of how to catch and snare crab from the shoreline from one of the many beaches in San Francisco. A rigorous activity and not recommended for people who have not taken one of the other pier based classes prior to booking. Some experience is necessary if you want to be successful.
A LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS CLASS. You will be asked through the booking process for your license number which you will need to have before booking. Chest or knee waders are highly recommended and you MUST have all participants fill out the liability waiver.
Includes
A pole, a sand, spike bait, a reel, 1 snare provided and additional tools needed. If the provided snare is lost $20 will be collected to offset the lost equipment.
Restrictions
This class is restricted to people who can stand for upwards of 3 hours, who have some prior fishing experience (my other crabbing classes for people who don't have much experience is highly encouraged), at least 16 years of age and can swim.
