Experiencing snow-white beaches and fairy-tale cottages from the seat of a bicycle is one of the most fun things to do while visiting Carmel-by-the-Sea. Our electric bike guided tour is a great way to see the beauty and charm of Carmel-by-the-Sea while learning the history and stories our iconic town has to offer.
You will ride from our bike shop in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and explore cottages throughout Carmel. After passing several local historic sites, you will ride along the Carmel coastline via Scenic Drive, a one-way, 15-mile per hour road. You’ll pass landmarks such as the Tor House, Butterfly House, Carmel River State Beach and the Carmel Mission, one of the most authentically restored Catholic mission churches in California. Our amazing tour guides will also take you to a few hidden gems throughout Carmel, including our town's very own miniature "Village of Fae" for Troll dolls. Yes, you heard that right!
Take lots of photos so you can share the beauty with your friends who couldn’t make it, and then cycle back to our shop.
The minimum for a non-private tour to operate is 3 people. If you reserve a tour date, but we have less than 3 people sign up for the tour, then we reserve the right to cancel the tour with a full refund, or convert the tour to a private guided tour (additional rates apply), or combine your booking with another at a different time and/or day, or convert the tour to a standard rental reservation (no tour guide, freedom of route and timing). As necessary, these options will be reviewed with the customer for their approval 24 hours before the reservation.
For parties of 1 or greater than 10, with dogs, children or anyone who can't pedal and need a throttle or need to be a ride-along passenger, or with any other special requests, please call to inquire. We will do our best to accommodate.

Cancellation Policy
We will gladly refund any reservation that is cancelled in writing at least 7 days in advance of the reservation. For reservations that are cancelled within 7 days of the reservation, a store credit will be issued. We will not issue any refund or store credit for customers that don't show up or that call us to cancel after their reservation has started or on the day of the reservation. There is no refund on discounted reservations booked online or through third-party booking platforms.
We reserve the right to cancel any reservation due to poor weather or if we believe the rider is incapable of riding safely. If we cancel the reservation a full refund will be offered.

If you reserve a tour date and we have less than 4 people sign up for the tour then we reserve the right to cancel the tour with a full refund, or convert the tour to a private guided tour (additional rates apply), or combine the tour with another tour at a different time that day, or convert the tour to a standard rental reservation (no tour guide). These options will be reviewed with the customer for their approval 24 hours before the reservation.
