Rescue Diver Course
What to Expect
Build your confidence and become a better dive buddy by learning rescue skills. You must complete open water, advanced open water, and have a valid CPR certification within 2 years in order to complete the Rescue Diver course with NAUI or PADI. We can support you in obtaining the CPR certification if you are not yet CPR certified.
The Rescue Diver course includes the following components:
- E-learning course (PADI or NAUI)
- Classroom and pool training
- 2 rescue training dives at San Carlos Beach
Our Pricing
Our pricing reflects the cost for private instruction. Here is sample pricing for an individual private rescue class. We offer discounts for private groups between 2-8 students so you can invite your family and friends to get certified with you.
- Course fee: $300
- NAUI E-Learning: $100
- Rental equipment: $80-100/day depending on gear needed.
- Pool fee (Monterey Sports Center): $16

Cancellation Policy
E-Learning is non-refundable. We offer full refunds for bookings cancelled more than 72 hours in advance (excluding E-Learning). We offer a 50% refund for bookings cancelled between 72-24 hours in advance. We do not offer refunds for bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before the dive course. In the event of unsafe diving conditions, we will offer you a rescheduled dive course or credit with Central Coast Scuba.
