Discover Scuba Diving

Try out scuba diving with us in a safe pool environment with a patient instructor. This is a great chance to experience scuba diving and begin building your skills. We even offer discounts if you decide to pursue an Open Water certification. We also offer an optional ocean dive add-on that is fully refundable based on ocean conditions.

Course Description

The Discover Scuba Dive course includes the following components:
- Classroom training
- Confined water (pool) training session
- Optional ocean dive training session (conditions permitting)

Our instructors are dedicated to highly personalized, patient support.

Typical Schedule

Because we offer private courses, this schedule is fully customizable based on your needs.
- Classroom and pool session (typically 2-3 hours)
- Optional ocean dive (typically 2 hours)

Our Pricing

Our pricing ​reflects the cost for private instruction. Here is sample pricing for an individual private discover scuba class. 

• Course fee (includes rental gear): $250
• Pool fee (Monterey Sports Center): $16
• Optional ocean dive: $100
