What to Expect
Experience the beauty of the Uinta Mountains with the comfort and convenience of our new ADA-friendly yurts. Designed to make the backcountry more accessible, these yurts feature ramps, hand railings, lower bunk beds, and an ADA-accessible restroom to better accommodate guests with a variety of mobility needs. While we continue making improvements toward full ADA compliance, these yurts provide a significantly more accessible camping experience than our traditional yurts.
More info
Priority Reservation Window for ADA Guests
• ADA guests will have an advance reservation window from October 1st to October 24th, before general reservations open.
• During this priority window (October 1st – 23rd), reservations must be made by emailing [email protected] or [email protected].
• These ADA Priority Reservations are exclusively for individuals who self-certify ADA needs. EPRD employees reserve the right to request documentation for verification if needed.
• After the priority window closes, the last full weekend of each month (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) will be blocked and reserved for ADA guests. The remaining dates will be open to the general public on October 26th at 8:00 AM.
• This approach guarantees some ADA availability throughout the season.
• If these blocked weekends are not reserved by ADA guests by the 1st of each month, they will be released to the general public. For example, if November 27th, 28th, and 29th are blocked for ADA guests and not rented, they will become available to the public on November 1st.
What's Included?
Unlike our other yurts that use wood-burning stoves, these units are equipped with a propane fireplace and propane cookstove, providing simple, reliable heat and cooking without the need to tend a fire. Solar-powered electricity, thermostat-controlled heating, and modern amenities add comfort while preserving the rustic mountain experience.
