What to Expect

The Highlights Tour is our most popular tour! This experience is led by a knowledgeable tour guide and showcases the property’s most notable highlights: Taliesin and Hillside Drafting Studio and Theater.

After boarding the shuttle, you begin by touring the main floor of Frank Lloyd Wright’s residence and personal drafting studio. Then, on to a scenic shuttle ride across the 800-acre property with views of Wright’s water garden, Midway Barn, and the Romeo and Juliet Windmill. The second part of the tour explores the Hillside Drafting Studio and Theater building, including the 5,000 square foot Drafting Studio, home to the Taliesin Fellowship, Wright’s architectural apprenticeship program.

This tour is ideal for guests looking for a comprehensive experience with a focus on Wright’s life and career in Wisconsin!
