What to Expect

Group trains are departures that have been scheduled with Mid-Continent by tour groups, schools, clubs, etc. during times that Mid-Continent would otherwise be closed.

The train equipment used and the route covered by the ride are otherwise exactly the same as our regular Coach Train rides. The train's capacity often far exceeds the number of people in these groups so Mid-Continent makes these extra seats available for sale to the public.

55-minute train ride in early-1900s coach cars with openable windows, pulled by a diesel locomotive
Admission to museum display buildings
Self-guided tour pamphlet provided at the ticket window

Restrictions

Pets can be brought to the museum display areas, but are not permitted on the train.

Service animals are allowed aboard the train. Owners of service animals must complete the Service Animal Registration Form available from the ticket agent before boarding.
