Come experience an airboat ice fishing adventure on what can be one of the best ice fishing perch destinations in the U.S. on any given day. Enjoy the ride with Captain Mike or Captain Mark in our state of the art ice fishing airboats custom built to navigate remote areas of the Mississippi River winter backwaters not easily accessible to the average angler. Choose between an exclusive guided trip (must book all 6 spots for 1 airboat) or enjoy the day with other enthusiasts and reserve between 1 and 5 spots. The Coulee region Mississippi River backwaters have a healthy population of panfish and are known for producing trophy perch and large bluegills. Your Captain will use his discretion in choosing between Mississippi River Pools 7, 8, & 9, depending on which pool has been producing best based on current conditions to try to ensure a successful trip. State-of-the-art Lowrance Live Scope technology and power augers will be used to chase and locate schools of fish. Live bait and plastics that are currently producing the best bites will be provided. Each individual will be responsible for bringing rods/reels, personal electronics, and additional jigs of their preference. Please see the list below for recommended and mandatory gear. Please keep in mind this is not a beginner trip and at least intermediate ice fishing skills are recommended to ensure full enjoyment. Your Captain will locate fish and make tackle/technique recommendations but this is not a “beginner learn to fish” guided experience. If you book an exclusive guided trip the captain will have a little more flexibility to work with your group but still recommend most individuals in group to have at least an intermediate skill set.

Please Note New Policy for 2022-23 Season: All individuals must pay for reservations online. Anyone that does not have a paid reservation will not be allowed on trip. 6 individuals per day is maximum amount of daily clients. Policy has been changed to enhance the quality of customers fishing experience. Please do not show up without a reservation as you will be turned away.

Mandatory items to bring
- WI or MN Fishing license
- Very warm clothes (stocking hat/facemask, gloves (recommended waterproof), winter jacket, snow pants or bibs). It is better to layer and overdress than be cold.
- Waterproof winter boots
- Fishing Poles
- Bucket or chair to sit on
- Signed waiver (can be signed at boat landing before trip departure)

Recommended items to bring
- Goggles/sunglasses
- Camera
- Food/snacks (food may freeze if not in cooler)
- Beverages (beverages may freeze if not in cooler)
- Personal electronics (Vexlar etc.)
- Additional jigs/tackle
- Cooler, bucket or bag for fish transport
