What to Expect

This all-day Gauley River rafting marathon pairs high-adrenaline Class IV/V whitewater — including the famous Sweets Falls — with an extended run down the scenic Lower Gauley for a full 26-mile adventure. The trip begins at BaseCamp where guides outfit you with paddles, PFDs, and helmets, then continues with an immediate, fast start on the river during an active dam release. Midday you’ll enjoy a catered buffet lunch with prime viewing of other rafts, then finish through historic river canyonland before returning to BaseCamp.
