Get ready to Move It, Move It!

Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hippo, and those hilariously plotting penguins are leaving New York’s Central Park Zoo behind for the adventure of a lifetime!

Based on the beloved DreamWorks animated film, Madagascar: A Musical Adventure KIDS is a fast-paced, approximately 30-minute musical packed with colorful characters, big personalities, friendship, adventure, and an upbeat score the whole family will love.

Madagascar KIDS begins at your ticketed performance time, so make sure you are in your seat and ready for the adventure!

Then: Between the Lines JR.

You have the power to change your story.

What happens when the book you escape into begins to feel more real than the world around you?

Based on the bestselling novel by Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer, Between the Lines JR. follows Delilah, a teenager struggling to find her place after moving to a new town and starting at a new school.

She finds comfort in the pages of her favorite fairy tale, and especially in its handsome Prince Oliver. But when Delilah discovers that Oliver may be more than simply a character on a page, the line between fantasy and reality begins to disappear.

Filled with humor, heart, imagination, and a powerful message about finding your own voice, Between the Lines JR. reminds us that sometimes the story we most need to change is our own.

It’s an enchanting musical for anyone who has ever felt like an outsider, dreamed of escaping into another world, or wondered whether they had the courage to write their own next chapter.

Two Generations of Apollo Youth Performers: One Stage

This production is especially exciting because it brings together two of the Apollo’s growing youth theatre programs in one performance.

Our younger performers take the stage first in Madagascar KIDS, followed by our older youth performers bringing the world of Between the Lines JR. to life.

Come celebrate confidence, creativity, friendship, mentorship, and the next generation of performers at the Apollo Civic Theatre!
