What to Expect
Race against the Winds during our match races aboard the 275 Sport Catalinas ‘Magic Wind’ vs. 'Wicked Wind'
The Catalina 275 Sport Boat was designed to be a comfortable, performance-oriented, day racer. The large cockpit offers excellent visibility of the course and other boats while the sail controls promote tremendous opportunity to tune the vessel for speed; granting savvy sailors the competitive edge they need to make it around the buoys quickly.
You will learn the rules and techniques of racing in a safe environment under guidance of a licensed captain. It's about having a good time, meeting new people, and winning isn't so bad either!
Prerequisites: US Sailing Basic Keelboat or Equivalent
