What to Expect
Your own private kayak experience launches from the dock of the historic and charming Captain Whidbey Inn. At your own pace and focusing on your interests, explore the history, habitat and aquaculture of Penn Cove while you paddle along bluffs fringed with stately Madrona trees, under the watchful eyes of eagles and seals.
Includes
Trained, experienced local guide, quality tandem (2-person) kayaks, paddles, life jackets, half-spray skirts, dry bags and waterproof cell phone cases(fits most phones).
We use high-quality, adjustable sea kayaks and lightweight paddles. Our tandems allow individuals with various strengths and skills to paddle together.
We have a large variety of lifejackets to fit all body types.
Restrictions
Some physical mobility is required - you will need to sit on the dock and then move into a seated position in the kayak. When the tour is done, you will move from the kayak back to the dock and then raise onto your knees before you stand up. Our team will be there to assist. Please note that we only have sit-in tandem kayaks for this tour.
