What to Expect
A private excursion of island sights and sounds. Take the morning or an afternoon to enjoy a scenic exploration of Whidbey’s coastline. You can choose tandem or single kayaks or a combination. You can also specify preferred paddle plan, weather permitting. You’ll do some good paddling but will also take time to glide and enjoy the water and shores close-ups. You’ll delight in the marine wildlife while kayaking in the presence of evergreens with mountains in the distance. And you’ll still have plenty of the day to enjoy island life!
Includes
Trained, experienced local guide, quality tandem (2-person) or single kayak(s), paddles, life jackets, half-spray skirts, dry bags and waterproof cell phone cases(fits most phones), a variety of snacks, extra water to refill your bottle, sunscreen.
We use high-quality, adjustable sea kayaks and lightweight paddles. Our tandems allow individuals with various strengths and skills to paddle together.
We have a large variety of lifejackets to fit all body types.
Our tours launch from beaches with hazards like rocks and shells, but our trained staff is always ready to assist.
Restrictions
Physical Activity Level: This tour is for an advanced beginner; one who can get in and out of a kayak and maintain an easy, strain-free pace. If mobility or endurance is a challenge or concern, consider one of our loop tours instead.
