What to Expect
The Salish Sea is a unique and diverse ecosystem home to more than 170 species of seabirds. Throughout the year, our bird-watching tours offer opportunities to see a wide variety of species in their natural environment.
Common sightings include Tufted Puffins, Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, Rhinoceros Auklets, Pacific Loons, and Common Loons. Depending on the season and conditions, we may also encounter Common Murres, Marbled Murrelets, Red-necked Phalaropes, and Hooded Mergansers.
Join us for a private birding tour through the Salish Sea and San Juan Islands. Whether there are specific species you hope to see or you simply want to explore and see what nature brings, each trip offers a unique experience.
Bird species and activity vary throughout the year, but there is always something worth seeing. We look forward to sharing the remarkable wildlife and scenery of the San Juan Islands with you.
