What to Expect

The Howl and Hike Tour does NOT include sanctuary access.* If you’d like to meet all 19 of our wolfdogs and enjoy the full experience, please book a VIP Educational Tour. They are held immediately after the Howl and Hike at 12pm and 2pm.

Step into the wild and walk alongside the extraordinary in this one-of-a-kind guided adventure. Our HOWL & HIKE experience invites you to join 2 members of our ROAM pack on an engaging, peaceful trek through forested trails – you will have a chance to connect with them through one of their most natural behaviors; walking and migrating. The hike is led by 1-2 of our high content, socialized ambassador wolfdogs.

  • Cameras welcome. We'll help you get the shot of a lifetime.
  • DOGS are NOT allowed under any circumstances. NO DOGS ON ROAM PROPERTY AT ALL even if they are in your car. KEEP ALL PETS AT HOME.
  • No umbrellas, walkers or wheelchairs as it is distressing to the wolfdogs.
  • Moderate walking required; trail is natural terrain.
  • Ages 12+ due to wolfdog sensitivity to younger children.
  • Please wear weather-appropriate shoes and attire, this is an outdoor event.
    WHAT NOT TO WEAR:
  • Faux fur or faux fur-like items (such as trim on boots) be covered and not in view.
    Refrain from wearing dangling lures. Flowy/loose type clothing is not recommended. Fleece or puffy jackets are tempting as well. :)
    The wolfdogs love to explore with their mouths, and these articles of clothing can be fun for the wolfdogs to grab at.
    Water bottles are a high value item for the wolves, if you choose to bring one, it may not survive.
  • Water provided after the tour, but we encourage reducing waste. Please bring a refillable water bottle.
