Lower Lake Cushman Waterfall Kayak Tour
At the base of the Olympic National Park! Beginner friendly - 90 Minutes
What to Expect
Join us on this picturesque 90 minute paddle through the emerald green freshwater of Lake Kokanee, also known as Lower Lake Cushman. As we glide over the calm freshwater surrounded by evergreens, you'll learn about the Olympic National Park and the lake's unique history; view an active osprey nest and watch them hunt the rainbow trout that reside there.
The tour's pinnacle occurs at the base of a cascading waterfall. Your guide will lead you close enough to stop and feel the cool spray, linger in the unique soundscape, and capture your ideal photos and videos. Your guide will gladly take photos of you and your group to add to your adventure keepsakes.
This tour is ideal for those who favor lake kayaking, beginner paddlers, groups with young children, and anyone a bit short on time, but still looking to get on the water for a bit.
After your paddle, the town of Hoodsport is a short drive down the mountain where delicious eateries await to satiate your post-paddle hunger.
