Mountain Biking Trails
Adventure Route
The Olympic Adventure Trail (OAT) is a 25 mile alternative to the paved, rail grade ODT route between the Elwha River and Lake Crescent. It is designed for mountain bikers, hikers, and equestrians. It has 25 miles of double and single track riding over very scenic, hilly, forested terrain.
This trailhead is conveniently located right next to our shop. This makes this trail easily accessible without having to worry about transporting your rental bikes with a vehicle.
This trail places you on Joyce-Piedmont Road which continues onto Lake Crescent linking up with the ODT, Spruce Railroad.
Olympic Hot Springs
To book online, you must book for this specific trail item, rates are different for the OHS.
Access the hidden and remote gem of the Elwha Valley. Challenging to access on foot, following a river flood and road closer, eBikes make this unique natural wonder accessible in a day trip for the active nature enthusiast.
The Olympic Hot Springs are a collection of small natural hot spring pool touched up the Elwha valley in pristine wilderness forest. The remote nature of the hot springs means that this trail is tranquil - noticeably quiet and meditative compared to more populated routes.
Before bathing in the rejuvenating waters of the mineral hot springs, take a your time riding and walking through the deep, quiet forest.
Paved Trails
Spruce Railroad Trail
100 miles of Washington’s most beautiful scenery all available to ride through. With our E-bikes you can enjoy more of it than most will ever experience, in comfort and style.
The Spruce Railroad section of the paved ODT trail goes along Lake Crescent for about 4-5 miles. It covers some beautiful scenery of the lake, national forest, and some amazing old train tunnels!
The trail also continues past the lake and spans the distance between the lake and a town near the coast called Forks. This section is also very beautiful as it goes through the national rain forest and by the Solduc River.
Port Angeles Waterfront/ODT West
A portion of the Discovery Trail heads into town from our park and depending on the time you leave, finding a restaurant to stop by and have a meal, is one of our highly recommended activities along your ride!
The Port Angeles waterfront section of the paved ODT trail goes along the coastline for about 4-5 miles in both directions. It covers some beautiful scenery of the Straits, Harbor, the Ediz Hook, and some amazing views of the Olympic Mountain Range!
Port Angeles to Sequim/ODT East/Lavender Farms
The Olympic Discovery Trail continues past Port Angeles and spans the distance between Port Angeles and an attractive town called Sequim. This section is very beautiful as it goes through local lavender farms and beautiful PNW terrain above the bluffs.
Lavender is in high bloom from mid-July into early August and many local farms open their doors for guests to visit the lavender fields, shop artisan goods, and pick bouquets.
