🛶 Your Journey Starts Here Launching from San Juan County Park, we paddle south along dramatic coastal cliffs toward Dead Man’s Bay, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing beachside picnic lunch (provided). From there, join us on a short hike to Lime Kiln State Park and the iconic lighthouse—a perfect pairing of land and sea exploration.
🐋 Whale Sightings? You’re in the Zone. Our handpicked west-side route isn't just gorgeous—it's also the top location for spotting whales from a kayak. With luck and timing, you could be gliding alongside these majestic creatures in the wild.

Wa State Ferry Travel Notice
If you are arriving by Wa State Ferry, we advise all guests to select a ferry sailing that arrives as early as possible to San Juan Island. Missed tours due to ferry delays or missed ferries are treated as same-day cancellations. No Refund and No Reschedule.

nCancellations, Refunds, and Rebooking
n- 30 or more days prior to the tour departure date, Full Refund.
n- 15 - 29 days prior to the tour departure date, 50% Refund.
n- 0 - 14 days prior to the tour departure date, No Refund.
n- No Shows will be subject to Full Charge.
n- Cancellation requests must be in writing (email).
Rebooking Policy
nWe will happily rebook your kayak tour if we are able to accommodate the date change. A rebooking fee of $20 Per Person plus tax is applied to the reservation for rebooking.
nNo rebookings are allowed within 48 hours of your departure date.
Canceled Trips
nDiscovery Sea Kayaks reserves the right to cancel any tour for any reason whatsoever. In such a case, a full refund for the cost of the tour is given. Discovery Sea Kayaks is not responsible for expenses incurred by participants in preparation/travel/lodging for the trip.
nPLEASE NOTE CANCELLATIONS ARE VERY RARE!
