What to Expect

Families, beginners, and anglers who want quality time on the water without committing a full day.

Our half-day trip puts you on the Kalama, Cowlitz, Lewis, or another productive Southwest Washington river for roughly four hours with a local guide who reads current conditions every day of the season.

We match the river and technique to what is running — bobber fishing for steelhead, back-trolling for salmon, or casting spinners when the bite calls for it. You get real instruction, quality gear, and a guide who wants you to catch fish whether it is your first trip or your fiftieth.

Half days are our most popular option for families with younger anglers and groups who want to fish hard and still have time for the rest of their day.
