Passing the Keelboat Skills Test is the final step for experienced sailors to unlock rentals here at the CBC.
To pass a Skills Test, sailors must be able to rig independently, demonstrate maneuvers like tacking, gybing, and person-overboard recovery. Keelboat sailors must demonstrate leaving from and returning to mooring buoys without a motor. We do not allow single handed sailing on these vessels so you will need to bring a crew member along for your skills test.
