Event Volunteer Opportunities
What to Expect
Join us at the CBC for these specialty roles! Each event opportunity role should have a title to let you know what you are in for. We have a variety of recurring opportunities, some listed below. However, sometimes unique roles & needs arise, and this is where you would sign up for those one-offs.
Please keep an eye on the event location for each role. Most happen here on campus, but some may be off-campus!
Common recurring Event Volunteer Opportunities:
TABLING: Represent the CBC at a community event with a set-up at tabling trifold. This role requires a skills-checkoff.
PRE-EVENT SUPPORT: Help administrative staff with varied tasks to get events ready before the big day; this work could look like decorating, laminating, prepping welcome packages, etc.
BARTENDER: Serve 21+ beverages to community members at our pop-up liquor licensed events. This role requires a Washington State Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST).
BOUNCER: Check IDs for community members at our pop-up liquor licensed events. This role requires a Washington State Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST).
BUSSER: Circulate in the event at our pop-up liquor licensed events or community partner barbeques, keeping an eye to keep things tidy and guests in compliance with rules.
