Everyone must pass our Skills Test before renting a sailboat
What to Expect
Enjoy the wind and water of Bellingham Bay with a rental of this sporty sailboat. The skipper must have at least one crew member aboard as single handed sailing is not allowed on these vessels.
Prior to renting an RS Quest dinghy, you must pass our Skills Test with an instructor.
There are two ways to take and pass the skills test:
- An on-the-water sailing skills test with our staff
- Successful completion of our Intermediate Dinghy Sailing class and passing grade from an instructor.*
*Please note it is not guaranteed that the instructor will be able to conduct a skills test in any program as it depends on the goals and general skill level of the whole group.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations more than 48 hours before the reservation: 100% refundable or transferable; If cancelled between 48 - 24 hours before the reservation: a 50% refund can be issued; No refund is available for cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation
