Washington Photo Safari is pleased to announce a new Zoom safari on the creating a great headshot! Baltimore photographer Vickie Gray shares her insights into creating great headshots on this Zoomfari.
A great headshot is the workhorse of the photography world. It has to communicate your trustworthiness, competence, professionalism, and success. In this online workshop Baltimore headshot photographer Vickie Gray shares her techniques for creating authentic, memorable, high-end headshots.
You will learn:
• how to prepare clients for their session, including tips on hair, makeup and wardrobe;
• posing techniques and expression coaching;
• photo review and selection via tethered capture on via iPad; and
• basic retouching protocols for both volume and individual headshot sessions.
A full list of gear and software is included, from cameras and lenses to retouching and photo sharing programs.
These tips and guidelines are designed to help you craft polished and stylish images, whether you are taking a casual headshot for a friend or family member or offering headshots as part of your photography services.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing via email at least 9 days prior to Safari date to: [email protected]. Cancellations received 8 or more days in advance of Safari date receive a refund of 75% of amount paid. No refund is made for cancellations received less than 8 days before the Safari date. Washington Photo Safari™ operates rain or shine. A separate itinerary is followed on rain or snow days, utilizing landmarks with unique photogenic interiors, such as The National Building Museum, Union Station, The National Postal Museum, The Lincoln Memorial, and the Jefferson Memorial.
