What to Expect
Welcome aboard Potomac Paddle Club at The Wharf, DC’s original party boat, reimagined. After six seasons of pedal-powered cruises, we officially retired the bike seats and pedals in 2025. Today, guests enjoy comfortable barstool seating around the bar, creating a more relaxed and social way to cruise. No pedaling required. Just great music, river views, and good company.
Book a private cruise for 8 to 20 guests. Not sure of your final headcount? Reserve for eight now and add guests anytime before departure. The minimum booking rate is based on eight guests.
Your charter includes a licensed Master Captain, deckhand, Bluetooth speakers, a large ice-filled cooler, and a private onboard restroom.
All cruises are BYOB and Bring Your Own Food. Beer, wine, seltzers, champagne, and ready-to-drink cocktails are welcome. Hard liquor is not permitted. Grab takeout from The Wharf or plan dinner before or after your cruise for the ultimate waterfront day.

Bathroom The boat comes equipped with a private bathroom on board.

Crew the boat will be staffed by a licensed Master Captain and a deckhand.
Cooler The boat has a large central cooler in the center of the bar that we keep stocked with ice to keep your refreshments chilled

Cancellation Policy
15 days or more prior to cruise date:
n- You are eligible for a full refund less processing fees, including your deposit.
n- Alternatively, you may transfer your deposit and payments to a new available cruise date.
8–14 days prior to cruise date:
n- Deposits and payments are non-transferable within this window.
n- If you choose to cancel a cruise during this timeframe, you are eligible for a refund less the deposit and processing fees
7 days or fewer prior to cruise date:
n- No refunds or transfers are available.
Refund and transfer eligibility applies to the full booking total, including any additional passengers added after the initial deposit.
nWeather Policy
n- We have a canopy that covers the bar area, so we operate rain or shine. We will only cancel if conditions become dangerous, e.g. high winds, severe thunderstorms, abnormally strong currents, or any other effect from such weather that would jeopardize safety. Weather radar changes constantly (you may have noticed that weather reporters are often wrong), so we have to make the safest decision for all passengers even if it changes right before the cruise is set to take place.
n- If WE have to cancel due to weather, you will be provided a gift voucher for the full amount of your cruise that is redeemable at any future date. If you purchase Trip Protection, you will also be given the option to instead opt for a full refund less the amount paid for Trip Protection.
Unforeseen Events Policy
n- If an unforeseen circumstance such as a mechanical failure of the vessel, medical emergency amongst the crew, issue at the marina, or any other extenuating circumstance that forces Sea Suite Cruises to cancel your cruise arises, you will be given the option to either receive a gift voucher for any other future date or a full refund.
