Restrictions
Dogs are not allowed at the Tidal Basin. Only service dogs may go on a kayak with a guest.
Single kayaks are for those 8 years old and above.
Children ages 8-15 must have a parent or guardian renting a kayak or pedal boat at the same time as them.
16 and 17 year old's may rent without a parent present, but the waiver must be signed by their parent/guardian in advance.
