Menu: pulled-pork BBQ sliders, chicken salad sliders, sweet-and-sour meatballs, cheese and crackers, potato salad, fresh fruit, cookies, sweet iced tea and water. Bar available for purchase of beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks. No outside food or drinks allowed. The Virginia Dare runs RAIN OR SHINE.

As the Virginia Dare leaves our dock, one of the first things you’ll see is the Smith Mountain Lake State Park, with it’s numerous walking trails and sandy beach. Our route varies and is always up to the captain's discretion, but some of the things you may see during your cruise are:

  • Nantucket-style Housing Development
  • Sail Boating Club
  • 3 Islands (Goat, Turtle & Bride)
  • One of the oldest condominium developments on the lake
