What to Expect
Welcome aboard the Private Party Boat, the city’s favorite floating party experience on the James River. After three seasons of pedal-powered fun, we upgraded in 2025 by retiring the bike seats and pedals. Now you can relax on comfortable bar stools around the bar, sip your favorite drinks, and enjoy the river views without the extra legwork. Same unbeatable vibes. Same sunset cruises. Just an easier, more social way to party on the water.
Book your private boat for groups of 8 to 20 people. Not sure what your final headcount will be? Reserve for eight now and add additional guests anytime before your cruise. Fewer than eight guests are welcome, but the minimum booking rate is based on eight.

What's not included
All cruises are BYOB and Bring Your Own Food so you can cruise with the libations and snacks of your choosing! The only exception is that we can't have hard liquor, but all beer, wine, seltzers, champagne, and ready-to-drink cocktails (High Noons, Cutwaters, Smash's, etc.) are all good to go!
Restrictions
- Any person deemed by the crew to be inebriated prior to departure will not be permitted to board, and they will not receive a refund.

Cancellation Policy
15 days or more prior to cruise date:
n- You are eligible for a full refund less processing fees, including your deposit.
n- Alternatively, you may transfer your deposit and payments to a new available cruise date.
8–14 days prior to cruise date:
n- Deposits and payments are non-transferable within this window.
n- If you choose to cancel a cruise during this timeframe, you are eligible for a refund less the deposit and processing fees
7 days or fewer prior to cruise date:
n- No refunds or transfers are available.
Refund and transfer eligibility applies to the full booking total, including any additional passengers added after the initial deposit.
nWeather Policy
n- We have a canopy that covers the bar area, so we operate rain or shine. We will only cancel if conditions become dangerous, e.g. high winds, severe thunderstorms, abnormally strong currents, or any other effect from such weather that would jeopardize safety. Weather radar changes constantly (you may have noticed that weather reporters are often wrong), so we have to make the safest decision for all passengers even if it changes right before the cruise is set to take place.
n- If WE have to cancel due to weather, you will be provided a gift voucher for the full amount of your cruise that is redeemable at any future date. If you purchase Trip Protection, you will also be given the option to instead opt for a full refund less the amount paid for Trip Protection.
Unforeseen Events Policy
n- If an unforeseen circumstance such as a mechanical failure of the vessel, medical emergency amongst the crew, issue at the marina, or any other extenuating circumstance that forces Sea Suite Cruises to cancel your cruise arises, you will be given the option to either receive a gift voucher for any other future date or a full refund.
