What to Expect

Do you want the quintessential Coastal Virginia experience? We depart at 11am and set sail on the Rappahannock River, where we pass under the iconic Robert O. Norris Bridge and enter Locklies Creek. We arrive around 12:30pm for lunch at the Merroir Tasting Room- a waterfront restaurant that serves as the tasting room for the Rappahannock River Oyster Company. Harvested fresh daily, everything is either served raw or cooked on an outdoor grill, small-plate-style, and beautifully paired with craft brews and world-famous wines. Around 2pm we head back across the River for a leisurely afternoon sail to homeport. This will be an experience to remember.

  • Private charter aboard Pisces (58' sailing catamaran) for up to 6 guests

  • USCG-licensed captain at the helm

  • 5 hour charter on the Rappahannock River and its tributaries

  • Safety briefing and lifejackets for all guests

  • Option to relax and let us sail or take the helm and trim sails with light instruction

  • Use of onboard amenities (cushions, pillows, cooler, ice, blankets, etc.)

  • All taxes, fuel, and marina fees related to the charter

  • Free ice is available at the marina

  • Fully stocked galley with stainless bowls, plates, and cups available for your use during the charter.

  • Lunch reservation at Merroir (we will make the reservation for you when you book your trip).

Restrictions

  • Federal law requires that children under 13 wear a lifejacket unless they are inside an enclosed cabin. We provide lifejackets in a range of sizes that your child may use during the trip.
  • In accordance with federal regulations, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for illegal drug use while aboard.

Cancellation Policy

Trips canceled due to rain or high winds will be rescheduled or refunded. We offer free cancellation within 48 hours of booking. After that period, cancellations for any reason will forfeit a 50% deposit.
