About
Come join us for an Adventure Tour through Fountain Cave. It is a former commercial cave that has not been open to the public for almost 100 years! There are no lights inside the cavern and the only thing that remains is a once used rugged 1800’s pathway.
What to Know
- You’ll get suited with Helmets, Headlights, Knee Pads & Gloves
- Must be 12 years or older, if less than 18 years old, must be accompanied by an adult
- For a “less adventurous” experience, you can use the 1800’s pathway; Or opt to have a true caving experience with opportunities for climbing & crawling
- You will be required to complete a waiver upon arrival, so please plan your time accordingly. (Minors will need their accompanying adult to sign their waiver)
- There are no restrooms inside the cave
What to Wear
- Closed toe footwear is required. (Tip: Trail shoes/ hiking boots work well)
- Long sleeve shirts & long "pants" are required. Expect your clothes to get muddy. (Tip: Leggings paired with shorts are a staff favorite)
- A buff or bandana is an optional luxury item (Tip: it can be nice under a helmet)
What to Bring
No personal bags are allowed, your tour guides will have packs.
- Water
- Camera, if you'd like to take pictures.
- Change of clothes for after the tour, if desired.
- A smile and a sense of adventure!
We do not assume responsibility should your equipment get damaged. But seriously, if you're going to bring equipment, be sure it is rugged.
