Join the James River Association for a guided tour of Richmond's Fall line and the tidal James River. Experience fall colors, local wildlife, history, and a ton of fun!

About
Explore the tidal James river right below Richmond's famous rapids! We will embark on a 14 person "Voyageur" or "big canoe." Working together, you'll travel with your guide up and down river to look for fall colors, watch for wildlife, and learn about the natural and human history of the area! No previous paddling experience required. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by their caregiver.
What to Bring
- Closed-toe shoes that can get wet/ muddy (Please no crocs or sandals)
- Clothes that are suitable for the weather and activity
- Clothes that can get wet and/or dirty
- Sunglasses & hat recommended
We will Provide:
- Life Jacket
- Paddle Vessel
- Instructions from one of our Guides

Cancellation Policy
Registration fees are non-refundable for personal cancellations. If you need to cancel your booking your fee will be converted to a tax deductible donation the The James River Association. Please cancel your trip a minimum of 24 hours in advance so we have ample time to alert our staff.
nIn the event we cancel a program due to inclement weather or otherwise, James River Association staff will do our best to offer a rescheduled trip or refund your registration fee in full.
