What to Expect
This two-day paddle glamping trip on the Upper James River combines multi-hour river runs with comfortable camping at new glamping sites. Expect a mix of fun Class II rapids, steady current and striking mountain views that create a remote wilderness feel. The itinerary is ideal for paddlers who have completed the operator’s main two-day trip and want slightly more technical water. Meals and additional amenities are not provided; the experience emphasizes paddling time and riverside camping on private land.

Restrictions
This trip is UNGUIDED, customers must be able to paddle and navigate up to class II rapids, and be able to recover a boat on their own without aid of the outfitter.
Participants must be able to paddle and camp in wilderness for 2 days
Not recommended for anyone over 350 lbs.
You must have at least two (2) people in your party to book a trip. Solo paddlers are NOT permitted.
