What to Expect
This popular three-day paddle-and-camp trip follows a downstream route from Buchanan to Glasgow with short daily distances ideal for fishing, swimming and relaxed paddling. Expect rolling current, numerous rapids manageable by canoes loaded for camping, and scenic Blue Ridge mountain views. Each day ends at private TRO campgrounds with access to land for camping. The trip emphasizes easy mileage and good fishing opportunities while providing safety orientation and all necessary rental gear and shuttle logistics.

Restrictions
This trip is UNGUIDED, customers must be able to paddle and navigate up to class II rapids, and be able to recover a boat on their own without aid of the outfitter.
Participants must be able to paddle and camp in wilderness for 3 days
Not recommended for anyone over 350 lbs.
You must have at least two (2) people in your party to book a trip. Solo paddlers are NOT permitted.
