What to Expect
Choose from one of two starting locations - Arcadia or Alpine locations. Paddle from your starting point to Glasgow, with overnight camping at our Back Run river front campground.
This trip meets at our Back Run Campground property in Natural Bridge Station where you can arrive early and set up your campsite. We will shuttle you to our shop in Buchanan to begin your trip.
It features miles of great current with numerous rapids suitable for canoes full of camping gear, gorgeous blue ridge mountain views, great fishing, swimming holes, and great camping.

Restrictions
This trip is UNGUIDED, customers must be able to paddle and navigate up to class II rapids, and be able to recover a boat on their own without aid of the outfitter.
Participants must be able to paddle and camp in wilderness for 2 days
Not recommended for anyone over 350 lbs.
You must have at least two (2) people in your party to book a trip. Solo paddlers are NOT permitted.
