This is Alleghany Outdoors’ shortest trip on the scenic Jackson River, perfect when you have limited time or prefer a shorter adventure. The stretch features clear water, steady current, plentiful but straightforward rapids, and excellent mountain views. Trips launch at Petticoat Junction boat ramp and finish at the take-out at Intervale Park. Typical start times for this trip are 12:30, 2:30, and 3:30 daily, making it an easy half-day option for families and first-time river guests.
