DCA Alumni Bike Bash

We are excited to announce our Second Annual DCA ALUMNI BASH! Bigger and better in ’24 (and a little earlier in the season). PEAK COLOR!!

The DCA Alumni Bash is about bringing the community together! A weekend of riding, eating, riding, relaxing, riding, and connecting with riding buddies (old and new). Bigger and better this year with multiple rides (all rides are no drop) led by certified DCA coaches, mini jumping clinics on the DCA Jump Line (limited spots available), Taco Truck, bonfire….all to coincide with the peak foliage. There is nothing better than fall riding in VT! Nothing!!

ITINERARY

Friday

2pm-4pm Social Ride - leisurely ride departing from VSS. 10-12 miles. Heavens Bench, Ridge, Rim, all the way around to the Chapel, Sidewinder ending with a beverage at the Hub overlooking the Willoughby Gap. After enjoying the autumn air and amazing burst of colors on Darling Hill we will head to our Meet and Greet at Hazels/Tomassoni’s Bistro (for late arrivals).

Saturday

9am-11am Mini Jump Clinic – DCA HQ
or
9am-12pm  Intermediate Ride – 12 Miles; Meet at Tiki Bar. Head to East Haven (lap it). Shuttle back to Tiki (unless you want to ride it).
or
9am- 12pm Advanced Ride – Meet at Mid Mountain (lot near hotel). Shuttles will be provided to get vehicles after the ride. Bike up Camptown, Dead Moose/Abuse, back up Camptown to CCC to Lower J, Kirby Connector, Bottoms Up, Last Call, Uptown to Kitchel (lap it) to White School and thenclimb back to DCA HQ.

12pm-1pm   Lunch – Provided at DCA HQ.

1pm – 3pm – Mini Jump Clinic

1pm – 4pm Social Ride - Departing from DCA HQ. This is a leisurely ride. Trails we may ride are Sky Dive, Farm Junk, Ware’s Davis, White School, Upper/Lower Pond, Kitchel and back up.

4:30-  Party DCA HQ - ENDLESS TACO TRUCK, Dessert, Pumpkin stuff, bonfire, jump line.

Sunday

9am-12pm   Intermediate Ride – 12 Miles. Meet at The Farm. Trails include Pound Cake, Emma’s, Coronary Bypass, Fence Line, Pastorie, Harp, Wares Davis, to Kitchel (lap it) back to parking lot.

9am-12pm Advanced Ride – We meet at Victory (if open) 3 or 4 laps. Must stop at Carols to sign in and give donation prior to entering Victory Hills. (If Victory is closed we will do an Advanced Ride either off the Summit (DH), to Camptown, up
to the Park and Ride Enchanted, to Burnham to house….
Or Summit to Camptown to Roly to East Haven and lap it with a Shuttle back to the cars).If those are not available we will figure out an advanced ride.

12pm – Meet at The Tiki Bar to say goodbye!
