Fall Session - Farm School
10 week program for ages 4-11
What to Expect
What is Fall Farm School?
Fall Farm School follows the natural rhythms of the season, giving kids a chance to see how the farm changes as it gets ready for winter. Through hands-on activities and seasonal chores, students learn by doing—harvesting crops, preparing garden beds, and caring for animals in cooler weather.
Each learning block is tied to what’s happening on the farm during fall, helping kids build real-life skills like teamwork, responsibility, and problem-solving while staying active and engaged outdoors.
What the kids will learn about this fall:
- Seed harvesting & saving
- Preparing soil for winter
- Building and managing compost
- Fall animal behavior and seasonal cycles
- Garden planning & food preservation
- Nature observation and teamwork
Why Families Love It
- Purposeful play that builds grit, adaptability, and joy
- Agriculture and American history taught through doing
- Kids are treated as capable, valuable members of the farm
- Kids get to learn through real experience on a working farm.
- We grow kids who are confident, curious, and kind.
We use inquiry-based learning to spark curiosity, allowing kids to ask questions, explore, and grow in ways that fit their unique learning styles.
