In the heart of Southern Utah we have access to some of the darkest, clearest skies remaining in the country. Stories in the Sky isn't just a stargazing tour—it’s a multi-sensory, "theater-in-the-round" experience where the cosmos becomes the stage and you are the guest of honor.
The Experience
Your journey begins at the Kanab Tour Company downtown location where you’ll board our “Star Ship” for a short ride to Journey Farms. This locally-owned treasure is tucked away from the lights of town, offering a deep-space resource that few ever get to see.
Stories in the Sky
The sky is a storybook. We bring Greek and Roman myths to life through interactive storytelling (you might even find yourself participating!). You’ll also handle a mariner’s sextant and hear the incredible story of John Wesley Powell, the one-armed explorer who used these very stars to map the rugged Utah wilderness.
The Power of “Skylence”
In a world that never stops moving, true silence is a rare gift. We conclude our evening in total, guided stillness under the vast Utah sky. It’s a chance to unplug, breathe and let the universe be your mentor.

Please note, this tour has a Two Person Minimum to launch the tour. Should we not reach this minimum, you have the option to cancel at no charge, or pay the Two Person Minimum price.

Cancellation Policy
Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 24 hours before a scheduled tour. This gives us the opportunity to offer the tour to other guests. For these cancellations, all but $25 will be refunded. For online bookings, there is also a 6% booking fee on the sub-total which is non-refundable.
nIf you cancel in less than 24 hours before a scheduled tour, there will be no refund and, if necessary, the balance due will be charged to the credit card on file. Cancellations due to unsafe weather conditions will be refunded in full if we are not able to reschedule and agreed upon by both parties.
nKanab Tour Company reserves the right to alter, add to, substitute or cancel any tour due to Staffing, Mechanical Failure, Unsafe Weather Conditions, or as determined by Management.
