What to Expect
Destination Sports is an experienced and licensed outfitter with the Utah Department of Natural Resources, Division of Outdoor Recreation. We offer the best day camp ever with our highly interactive "Paddle & Hike" rafting & kayaking club program for youth!
Ages: 8 – 18!
This adventure day camp starts with a morning hike or lake kayaking trip at East Canyon State Park or Lost Creek State Park. Then in the afternoon, we will embark on a river rafting and kayaking trip on the Weber River between Henefer, Taggart, and Morgan.
The Weber River is a cornerstone of life in Utah.
Our Paddle & Hike Day Camps will serve as an exciting introduction to river rafting and kayaking and will provide a comprehensive understanding of the importance of the many facets of the Weber River, including the geology, ecology, and sociology that surrounds it.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Expert licensed guides and instructors, raft, paddle, PFD (life jacket), and van transportation to activities within the camp itinerary.
Bring your own box lunches, non-melting snacks, and 2 water bottles.
WHEN:
Rafting Day Camp is every Tuesday, from the first of June through mid-August.
Sign up for each Tuesday that your child can attend.
TIME & LOCATION:
9:00 a.m. meet in Morgan.
The Cool Bus departs for the morning activities from the front of our store at 103 N. Commercial Street in Morgan at 9:00 am sharp.
4:00 pm Pick up at our Base Camp in Henefer
or 4:30 pm Pick up at our store in Morgan.
PRICE:
$60 per day. Sign up for each Tuesday that your child can attend.
DAY CAMP ACTIVITIES LOCATIONS:
Each day of Day Camp we will spend the morning hiking on a nearby trail, or lake kayaking and fishing at a nearby reservoir.
Each afternoon we will paddle raft or kayak on the Weber River on sections between Henefer and Morgan.
We will meet at 9:00 at Destination Sports' store at 103 North Commercial Street in Morgan. We will go to public access historical markers, trails, and reservoirs around Echo, Henefer, Morgan, East Canyon State Park, Lost Creek State Park, Snowbasin, and Jeremy Ranch Road areas, and float on the Weber River from Echo to Morgan.

Cancellation Policy
Customers will receive a full refund with 7 days notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations made within 7 days of the camp are non-refundable.
