DRIVE & HIKE Living on the Edge
Crimson Trail Experience
What to Expect
Crimson Trail Experience – Private Classic Car Drive & Scenic Ridge Hike, Logan Canyon
Experience the canyon. Climb the ridge. See Logan Canyon from above.
Our Crimson Trail Experience combines an extended scenic drive through Logan Canyon — including Ricks Spring — with one of the most striking ridge hikes in Northern Utah. This is not a short stop-and-walk. This is a full canyon experience.
The Experience
- We meet at our Crazy for Life headquarters in Paradise, Utah, where you receive a short introduction.
- From there, we drive deep into Logan Canyon, following the winding mountain road alongside the river.
- We continue past towering cliffs and forest stretches to Ricks Spring, where we make a scenic stop before driving back the canyon toward the Crimson Trail.
- The drive itself is part of the experience — curves, elevation changes, canyon walls, and classic engine sound echoing through the mountains.
- At the trailhead, we transition from engine to footsteps. The Crimson Trail climbs steadily to a dramatic ridgeline overlooking the canyon. The path narrows in sections and follows exposed edges with breathtaking views on both sides. Sure footing and comfort with heights are required — but the reward is extraordinary.
- From the top, Logan Canyon opens wide beneath you.
- After taking in the views and enjoying a signature snack break, we descend and return through the canyon by car. The return drive feels different — calmer, clearer, stronger.
Our Classic Cars
Depending on availability and group size, your experience may include one of our iconic vehicles:
- Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 (Replica) – raw, mechanical, unforgettable
- Volkswagen T1 “Mango” Bus – vintage freedom and timeless charm
- AMC Jeep CJ7 V8 (1981) – rugged American freedom
Vehicle selection depends on the number of participants. Larger groups may require multiple vehicles and advance coordination accordingly.
