Important Winter Information

During the winter season, Yellowstone's interior roads are closed to regular vehicle traffic and are accessible only by authorized snowcoach and snowmobile travel. Our adventure enters Yellowstone through the North Entrance in Gardiner and explores the incredible year-round road through Mammoth Hot Springs and Yellowstone's Northern Range to Lamar Valley and the Northeast Entrance.

Winter weather and wildlife activity can change quickly, so exact stops and timing may vary based on current road conditions, weather, wildlife sightings, and guest interests.

Come experience Yellowstone in a completely different way, surrounded by snow-covered mountains, steaming geothermal features, incredible wildlife, and the quiet beauty that makes winter in Yellowstone so unforgettable!
