Description

A guided hike through the Zion Narrows in Zion National Park is an immersive adventure that places you directly in the heart of the canyon itself. Rather than following a traditional trail, you’ll hike upstream through the Virgin River, surrounded by towering sandstone walls that rise hundreds of feet overhead. Along the way, your experienced guide shares insights into the area’s geology, hydrology, and the unique ecosystems that thrive in this ever-changing environment.

The journey begins along the Riverside Walk before the trail disappears and the river becomes your path. Wading through cool, flowing water over smooth stones, you’ll move through narrow corridors where the canyon walls close in, creating dramatic water sculpted formations. The interplay of light and shadow, reflected off the canyon walls and water below, creates an atmosphere that feels both peaceful and otherworldly. This unforgettable trek offers a perfect blend of adventure and serenity, making every step through the river a highlight of the Zion experience.

While this is a privately guided tour, we expect to see 100s of other people. Booking a guide for the Narrows restricts the hike to turn around at the junction with Orderville Canyon (2.5 miles one-way from the trailhead), excluding the world famous Wall Street Corridor from the trip. Guests may not separate from their guide and will see the public continuing into this section of the canyon. For those wishing to enter into the Wall Street Corridor, we would be happy to answer any questions to help prepare you for the only legal way to accomplish this, an unguided experience.
