Canyoneering & Rappelling: Upper Water Canyon

Upper Water Canyon is a strenuous, rewarding private canyoneering day trip for fit, adventurous guests ready for technical terrain and long hiking. The trip begins with a 3-mile uphill approach (about 1,200–1,300 feet of gain) to the canyon head, then a technical descent featuring 10+ rappels—some up to 200 feet—along slickrock shelves, sandy drainages, and occasional pools. Guides manage anchors and safety systems, provide instruction, and pace the group based on ability. Expect a long, remote day with dramatic scenery similar to Zion but without the crowds.
