Explore the calm, protected waters of Hurricane Hole at your own pace with a self-guided Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) and snorkeling adventure in the beautiful Virgin Islands Coral Reef National Monument.

Pick up your paddleboard, paddle, life jacket, and snorkeling gear from our shop at Mongoose Junction in Cruz Bay and enjoy the flexibility of exploring Hurricane Hole on your own schedule. We will coordinate equipment pickup and return times with you, either the afternoon before your rental or the morning of your adventure, whichever is most convenient.

Hurricane Hole is one of St. John’s most peaceful and protected marine environments, featuring crystal-clear waters, mangrove-lined shorelines, secluded coves, and excellent snorkeling opportunities. Paddle through sheltered bays, explore hidden mangrove areas, and discover a thriving underwater ecosystem filled with tropical fish, sea anemones, juvenile marine life, and other fascinating creatures. Lucky visitors may also spot sea turtles, rays, and other marine wildlife.
