What to Expect

Discover what goes on during the night at Westcave Preserve!

Experience the magic of the Grotto at night. Learn about the animals that call Westcave home from a local naturalist as you listen and hike for 1.5-2hours down a 100 foot staircase into a sheltered canyon of lush plant life at sunset. As night time approaches, you will reach the head of the canyon where water falls along a stunning 40-foot cliff that stands replenishing the grotto pool below. This is a one mile round trip moderate to difficult hike.
