Cuddle with Kunekune Pigs

Step into our world on the farm with a 1.5-hour Cuddle with Kunekune Pigs experience, led by owner and pig whisperer Joshua. We’ll begin in our backyard, where you’ll meet our youngest kunekunes and the "instafamous" house pig, Ripley. Learn how this unique breed was brought back from the brink of extinction and discover their gentle nature. Next, we'll visit the farrowing pens, which may be home to breeding pairs, expectant mothers, or adorable nursing piglets, depending on the season. As we venture further, you'll pass our horses, donkey, and a lively assortment of show chickens and ducks before arriving at our paddocks. Here, you'll meet the rest of the Halbert Herd and learn their individual stories and personalities. You’ll hang out by the pond to give them treats and all the belly rubs they can handle. Our pigs are so smart they even know how to sit! A visit to our miniature zebu cows is likely as well. We'll end the tour back in the backyard to say your final goodbyes and give some last treats to the youngest pigs and piglets.
