Our Galveston Bay Learning Charter is designed for anglers who want more than just a guided trip — it’s for those who want to truly understand the ins and outs of fishing the bay.

This hands-on charter focuses on teaching you how to read tides, interpret wind direction, locate productive structure, and understand seasonal fish patterns. You’ll learn why we choose certain wells, reefs, shorelines, or mid-bay areas — and how to identify similar spots on your own. We cover boat positioning, bait selection, lure presentation, and how to adjust when conditions change.

Whether you’re a new boat owner, a weekend angler looking to improve, or someone preparing for tournaments, this trip is tailored to help you build confidence and knowledge. Ask questions, take notes, mark spots, and gain real-world experience on the water.

By the end of the trip, you’ll have the skills and understanding to consistently find and catch them on your own in Galveston Bay.

This trip typically takes 3 hours. We will also need to understand the condition of your vessel and may require a membership to SeaTow or an equivalent service.
